Frequently Asked Questions

We know many of you have questions about the direction of Seahorses. We aren’t leaving, we’re just changing things up a bit. Here are some of the FAQ’s we’ve gotten so far. If you don’t see your question answered here, please reach out to us and let us help you.

Q: If you’re closing…is everything on sale?

A: Yes. There will be no re-orders, so when things are gone, they are gone!

Q: Are you still selling gift cards?

A: No. Unfortunately bringing an end to the retail part of Seahorses means we won’t be selling gift cards anymore.

Q: How long will my gift cards be valid?

A: Gift cards are valid until December 15th.

Q: Are you still accepting returns/exchanges?

A: We will be accepting returns and exchanges until December 1st. After that point all sales are final. That includes any purchases made before December 1st.

Q: Are you still taking special orders?

A: We will not be placing any orders for new products. 

Q: Are you still checking carseats?

A: Yes! We will still be able to take appointments for car seat checks and tech support. We will also continue honoring any tech support agreements with anyone who has purchased a seat though us or paid for support in the past.

Q: Is the store closing forever?

A: No! We will only be closing our doors to complete some renovations and get the space ready to accommodate the mission of normalizing involved fatherhood and helping dads get the tools they need to succeed.

Q: What’s going to happen to all the events?

A: The events will continue even during the rebuilding/renovation portion of the changeover. It is important to maintain as much support to the community as safely possible.

Q: Does this mean New Father’s Meetup is going to move?

A: No.  The gathering is so very important!  There will be some renovations going on during the meetup, but the play area will still be open for kiddos to use, and the dads group to talk around.
